Good evening, friends! Have you started to enjoy some Fall weather where you are? We have certainly made the turn into Fall over the last couple of weeks. Honestly, this weather is heavenly to me! I could take these cool mornings and evenings with warm, sunny days every single day of the year!
To celebrate the arrival of Fall, I’ve cozied up our living room just a little bit. Come on in and enjoy our Fall Living Room tour. Take a peek around and let me know what you think!
For our bookcases, I really didn’t make too many changes. They are already filled with wood textures, light blue, green and a few gold pieces.
For the mantle, I added some map pumpkins in a wooden dough bowl. I made these Map Pumpkins a few years ago and they are the perfect size for this wooden dough bowl that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. You can personalize the DIY Map Pumpkins with all of your favorite spots to remember your favorite places.
One of my favorite ways to decorate for the change in seasons is to switch out artwork. I brought our “Give Thanks” and “Gather Together” prints into the living room.
No Fall living room would be complete without a couple of fuzzy pillows. I purchased mine recently at TJ Maxx. I think Ollie approves of the new coziness in the room, too. Pine cones, picked up on a walk in our neighborhood, are a great way to bring another Fall element into the room. For Fall, I also replaced the jewel-toned patterned curtains with white curtains for a more neutral look. I’m actually thinking about redoing them in a slightly ivory color with a maybe a tan and blue border.
Behind the couch, we have a long console table. This white tray was made by a friend of mine and filled with some neutral fall accessories. I really can’t resist a fox!
On the back wall of the room, the gorgeous fine art print by Emily Jeffords is the star. It works perfectly in the winter, spring, summer or fall. And, one more little woodland creature was added to the piano.
